International Students

Cabramatta High School proudly welcomes international students from around the world, offering a caring and inclusive environment where every student can succeed academically and personally. Our international program combines strong learning support with wellbeing care, helping students adjust to life in Australia while feeling connected to the school community.

Our dedication to international education has been recognised at the NSW Government Schools International Student Awards, with staff member Debra Goodfellow receiving the International Student Support Award and 2024 graduate Xiao Leang Yee named a finalist in the International Student Leadership Award. Xiao Leang was also filmed by DE International with a personalised tour of our school. The video can be viewed here.

International students such as Jullyya and Reachborey, both 2025 students, have shared how the program has shaped their school experience. Jullyya said, “Cabramatta High has always provided a supportive environment. The teachers are approachable and offer resources for extra learning. The programs and clubs helped me step out of my comfort zone and feel confident expressing myself in English.”

Reachborey added, “Being part of the international student program has been an unforgettable experience. The school helped me adjust to Australian life, make new friends and gain confidence both in and outside the classroom.”

At Cabramatta High School, our international students are an important part of our diverse and welcoming community. We are proud to help every student feel valued, supported and ready for success in Australia and beyond.
