NAPLAN Assessments for Years 7 and 9
The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9.
This nationwide measure helps parents, carers, teachers, schools, education authorities, and the broader community assess whether young Australians are developing essential literacy and numeracy skills. These skills form the foundation for further learning and enable students to participate productively and meaningfully in society.
NAPLAN results provide valuable insights into students’ progress in literacy and numeracy over time—individually, within their school community, and against national standards.
For our Year 7 and 9 students, the NAPLAN exams will take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday 12th March
- Friday 14th March
- Monday 17th March
- Tuesday 18th March
We encourage students to listen to Kalori daily for important updates and information. If they have any questions, they can speak with their Year Advisors or Mr. Avery (Stage 4 Deputy).
Good luck to all our students!
