SRC art mural competition

The 28th of March is Graffiti Removal Day, so the SRC have decided to remove graffiti from the lecture theatre wall opposite the peace garden then, with the help of the Art Faculty, paint a mural. We are running a competition open to the whole school to design the mural that will go on that wall. We will pick six different artworks that correlate to the following themes:

• Anti bullying/ teamwork

• Road safety 

• Multiculturalism and peace

• Nature and environmental concerns (eg. global warming, plastic use, recycling)

• Space and exploring boundaries to better yourself (eg. trying public speaking)

• Future / technology with hybrid learning (eg. online learning into everyday learning)

The competition is open from today (31st March) and will close on the Wednesday 21st April which is the first Wednesday back next term. You can enter one piece of artwork for each theme. All entries must be given or emailed to Ms Van Groesen by 5pm on Wednesday 21st April 2021. Prizes will be awarded.
